I believe this to be a NSSE (Not So Special Edition) which was originally planned by Toyota to be a Trail Teams, but the factory was unable to completely finish some of them due to the Tsunami in Japan, so they shipped them out, not completely being done and minus the TT badging. I believe the previous owner may have added the rest of the parts to make it a TT, hence why it looks like a TT. Just Google “FJ Cruiser Not So Special Edition” and it will explain much better.
